Job Summary
The Analytical Chemist I performs routine chemical analyses in a high-volume laboratory, with emphasis on HPLC, assay, potency, and impurity testing. Responsibilities include conducting environmental tests, tracking samples, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards. The role involves operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting where necessary, and assisting with compliance audits. A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required, along with experience in a regulated lab environment preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry and documentation
- Ability to work independently under supervision while collaborating with team members
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, or other analytical instrumentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and laboratory information systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
