Job Summary
Senior Payroll Operations Analyst for Canada (Montréal, 12-month full-time fixed-term contract with potential conversion). Lead Canadian payroll administration, ensure compliance, conduct audits, collaborate with Deel and internal teams, respond to payroll inquiries, support internal/external audits, and participate in special projects. Requires 5–8 years of Canadian payroll experience, bilingual French/English, and proficiency with Workday/Deel and Excel; Bachelor’s degree in a related field; knowledge of Canadian payroll laws; potential asset: Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of payroll operations experience in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- French and English bilingual
- Experience with Workday HR and Deel or other SaaS payroll tools
- Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, PivotTables)
