Job Summary
Prepare tax provisions and notes for Canadian legal entities and the consolidated group, and participate in the full process of preparing Canadian income tax returns. Conduct reconciliations between tax provisions and prior-year income tax returns ("true-up"), ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulation 52-109. Actively contribute to continuous improvement and automation of tax processes to enhance operational performance, while supporting the identification and implementation of tax optimization opportunities. Participate in special projects including reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions, and respond to ad hoc tax inquiries. This role supports TC Transcontinental, Canada's largest retail marketing services company and leading French-language educational publisher, leveraging expertise in a complex IFRS environment.
Required Qualifications
- Détenir un diplôme universitaire en comptabilité
- Détenir un titre comptable CPA
- Avoir un minimum de 3 à 4 ans d'expérience en conformité fiscale et comptabilité fiscale
- Excellentes connaissances des lois fiscales canadiennes pour les sociétés
- Formation en fiscalité: In-Depth Tax Course de l'ICCA ou diplôme de 2e cycle en fiscalité
- Facilité à utiliser les outils informatiques courants, tel que Microsoft Office avec une connaissance avancée d'Excel
- Connaissance de Taxprep
- Bilinguisme: français et anglais
