Job Summary

Conduct analyses for client reports, business needs, and research projects by planning and executing data work on prescription, medical, and healthcare datasets. Identify, collect, clean, and prepare data using appropriate methods, then generate, interpret, and report findings to meet internal and external client requirements. Develop and maintain analytical programs, tools, and outputs while applying standard methodologies to research projects. Execute programming in SQL, Python, and Tableau to build models and create interactive results, supporting quality control and data validation activities. Collaborate with project teams to determine data solutions, develop analytical models, and prepare written summaries of study results. Identify risks affecting project delivery or quality and propose mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, health informatics, data science, health administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working with complex datasets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data manipulation, and analytics/reporting work
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into clear, meaningful outputs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Planning, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Relevant internship, academic, or professional experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, programming, healthcare analytics, or research analytics
  • Tableau and Python experience / familiarity
  • Familiarity with Microsoft server, workstation, and networking technologies
