Job Summary
Bilingual Collections Analyst at Sunoco (Montreal or Calgary) responsible for proactively managing an assigned AR portfolio to ensure timely collections, resolving billing discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, reconciling accounts, updating notes, and supporting cash flow and financial health. The role requires interfacing with customers via phone/email to secure payments, negotiating payment arrangements, coordinating with Cash Applications to address unapplied/misapplied payments, and maintaining documentation for audits. Candidates should have 3+ years in collections/AR in a B2B environment, ERP and advanced Excel skills, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset; Oil & Gas experience is an asset and experience in a Shared Services model is preferred. Bilingual (French/English) ability is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of collections, credit, or accounts receivable experience in a B2B environment
- Experience with dispute resolutions, account reconciliations and root cause analysis
- ERP systems proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency with strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, lookups, pivot tables)
- French-English bilingual abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset
