Job Summary
Analyst - Transportation provides analytical support across transportation modes (small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, international, courier, truckload, rail, expedited) and supports government regulatory agencies, auxiliary programs (car allowance reimbursement), freight audit and payment, and supply chain analytics. Responsibilities include developing, negotiating, and administering national transportation programs, delivering customer service for inquiries, analyzing mode-specific service and expense metrics, creating and maintaining daily/weekly/monthly management reporting, performing transportation or supply chain analytics, participating in LEAN initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance at branches and distribution centers, and ensuring dangerous goods policies meet laws and that employees are trained and documented. May assist with self-clearance customs processes and yearly free trade agreement solicitations, blanket and origin certificates, and assist with new customs initiatives or projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 2 years required of transportation, customs, logistics or supply chain
