Job Summary
Manage the full trade life cycle including order setup, execution, settlement, confirmation support, compliance reporting, and reconciliation. Operate, maintain, and develop trading technologies such as the order management system, proprietary models, and third-party systems. Onboard new brokers, custodians, and administrators while maintaining internal policies and procedures. This role supports the trading needs of multiple business platforms within a high-pressure, central group environment. Work on a hybrid schedule from Santa Monica or Pittsburgh offices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or relevant field of study
- 0-2 years of industry experience; trading or trade operations capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of cash, equity and fixed income asset classes
- Positive attitude and motivation, good organization, punctuality and attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Interest in leveraging approved AI-enabled tools to streamline work processes, enhance productivity, and support high-quality outputs, while applying sound judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to firm policies
- This is a highly visible team that often operates in high pressure environments
- This position will work on a hybrid model out of our Santa Monica or Pittsburgh office
Desired Qualifications
- trading or trade operations capacity highly preferred
- Familiarity with trade order management or fund accounting systems preferred
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morning Star and industry relevant systems preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills; ability to write macros preferred
- Knowledge of derivatives preferred
- experience with security valuation modeling preferred
