Job Summary
Analyst, TPL Sales and Operations is a dynamic role supporting: development of marketing strategies and execution of programs to attract prospective customers; manage and maintain team documentation for responses to RFP/RFQ/RFI projects; provide Customer Service to new and existing vendors and customers; collaborate daily with project managers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include analyzing bid requirements for compliance and responsiveness; monitoring and tracking sales performance data and market pricing; collaborating with sales and operations to meet deadlines; maintaining relationships with clients; onboarding new clients; building collaborations with operations; providing market intelligence reports to shape sales strategies; negotiating shipping rates with carriers; monitoring container moves on ocean and land; and completing shipping documentation (bill of lading, house bills of lading, certificates of origin). The position is located in Duluth, GA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 0-1 Years of Direct Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required
- Intermediate-level of MS Excel Required
- Problem-solving and critical thinking ability Required
- Detail oriented Required
- Experience with MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint Required
- Self-starter that can operate under minimal supervision Required
