Job Summary
Analyst, Strategic Planning within DCAS’s DEM Strategic Services Unit will manage cross-divisional projects, drive energy-management improvements, perform policy and data analysis to support decarbonization goals, produce deliverables (memos, workbooks, presentations), and coordinate compliance reporting for citywide energy initiatives. Responsibilities include project management, identifying process improvements, providing analytical support for policy initiatives, supporting external communications, conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, ensuring QA/QC of reports, and developing relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders to advance energy and emissions reduction goals. The role supports flexible remote work up to two days per week.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to the above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in the first item above.
