Job Summary
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Generation and Operations Data Analytics stakeholders to drive revenue growth and improve efficiency. Own and drive technology leadership and governance to ensure appropriate prioritization of technology spend within the business unit. Develop and own business unit strategic technology roadmaps, create business cases, and coordinate vetting new technology with security, contracts, and legal owners. Lead the technology acquisition process including governance approval, procurement, and supply chain processes while facilitating governance and budget meetings. This senior-level role requires physical reporting Monday through Thursday at the Energy Center in Birmingham, Alabama, with occasional travel to generation plant sites.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Technology, Business or related field
- Experience in business analysis
- Experience in business relationship management
- Experience in technology support
- Physical report to work Monday – Thursday (4) days a week at the Energy Center in Birmingham, Alabama
- Fridays are generally hybrid unless requested to come into work
- Telecommuting is only allowed on a case-by-case basis pending Manager approval
- Overall travel requirements should not exceed 20%
