Job Summary
Analyst/Sr Analyst in CASS Analysis and Safety Technology within the Integrated Operations Team. Responsible for analyzing audit and operational data to identify discrepancies in maintenance and inspection programs, performing risk and root cause analyses, interfacing with SMEs to identify root causes of system deficiencies, and preparing safety reports for upper and senior management. Develops analytical tools and data models to measure trends in operational, quality audits, investigations, and safety data; designs complex analytical queries to support QA/CASS; conducts follow-up analyses to ensure compliance and effectiveness of corrective actions; creates/edit reports to highlight safety issues across the corporation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or aviation related field or equivalent experience in air carrier maintenance, quality assurance or operations
- 5 years experience with airline maintenance and the Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP)
- Experience in metrics, development of Dashboards and data analysis
- Knowledge of SQL to create and manipulate queries in Mosaic and Access database
- Leadership experience within Tech Ops
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to establish and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to self-manage time schedule
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with various levels of management
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, AA maintenance and operations programs, Company policies and safety procedures
- Knowledge of SQL to create and manipulate queries in Mosaic and Access database
