Job Summary
Support the Alternatives team with client-related initiatives across discretionary and advisory clients while assisting with monitoring existing client portfolios and creating presentation materials. Perform quantitative analyses, such as portfolio pacing, and support new client solution ideas and ad hoc client requests. Contribute as an active member of the alternatives research team by evaluating private markets investment opportunities, including private equity, private credit, and real assets primarily in North America. Participate in 3–4 person deal teams assessing fund investments and transactions, including co-investments and secondaries. This dual-focused role spends time on both client solutions and alternatives research, with time allocation dynamic from quarter to quarter.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Foundational understanding of the private markets industry
- Excellent analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
- Strong business and investment acumen
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot)
- Interest in both client service and investments
- A self-starter who is independent, hardworking and results oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - the ability to present ideas with precision and conviction
- A passion for excellence
- An entrepreneurial bent and a 'roll-up-the-sleeves' orientation
- Organized, thorough and detail-oriented

Desired Qualifications
- Bring familiarity with marketable alternatives, such as liquid alternatives and hedge funds, as a plus but not a requirement
