Job Summary
Perform general clerical functions including system input, document receiving and dispatching, and screening applications for compliance with terms and conditions. Provide advice and guidance to staff on daily operations and resolution of problems, while escalating exceptions, errors, and abnormal transactions to the Team or Section Manager. Prepare documents, answer enquiries from internal and external customers, and suggest improvement opportunities to the manager. Achieve defined KPIs and year-on-year improvement targets on in-process and output defects while maintaining full compliance with bank policies and procedures. Record transaction completion times accurately in the tracking system and utilize resources cost-effectively.
Required Qualifications
- A Level or above
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in trade related banking operations
- Graduated with less experience will be considered
- Timely delivery of work assigned by Team / Section Manager with good quality
- Timely and accurate feedback for enquiry from internal and external customers
- All the work performed is in accordance with the established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards
- Full compliance with all the Bank's policies, guidelines and code of conduct etc
- Timely escalation of error, problem, exception or abnormal transaction to Team / Section Manager or Department Manager
- Timely and accurate recording of in-process and output defects, transaction completion time into the tracking system
- Full attendance of all training courses arranged by Team / Section Manager
- Achievement of the year-on-year improvement target set by Team / Section Manager on in-process and output defects
- Utilise the resources in a cost-effective manner such as hardware, software and stationery
Desired Qualifications
