Job Summary

Analyst, Shopper Insights role focused on translating in-depth shopping and retail environment insights into actionable category, retail, and customer strategies. You will develop consumer selling stories using segmentation as a data foundation, guide stakeholders on segmentation principles, curate social intelligence to identify cultural trends and snacking moments, and uncover growth opportunities in retail within the geographic responsibility. Responsibilities include generating behavior-changing insights to support innovation, communication and brand growth imperatives across shopper, customer and net revenue planning teams. Requires experience with retailer/customer data analytics to build retail plans, strong data visualization skills (Tableau), proficient Excel/PowerPoint, ability to present to retailer teams, and effective negotiation/joint business planning. Collaboration with marketing, sales and external agencies is expected. The base salary ranges from $86,900 to $119,515 and includes eligibility for a bonus program and comprehensive benefits; Mondelez International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in using retailer / customer data, shopper insights and analytics to develop compelling retail customer plans ideally in the FMCG/CPG industry
  • High proficiency in base business tools (Excel/PowerPoint), with expertise in data modelling with data visualization tools (experience with Tableau is a must)
  • In-depth knowledge in analyzing and creating visualizations of large amounts of data
  • Experience in presenting to retailer teams, and in negotiation planning/joint business planning
  • Strong knowledge and usage of market segmentation models
  • Proven track record in persuasively influencing and aligning key customers and business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
  • Able to partner well with marketing, sales and external agencies
