Job Summary
Lead complex financial analysis to develop the annual budget aligned with strategic goals, including long-term financial planning and student-based allocation efforts. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding financial processes, position management, and data-driven reporting. Strategize sound financial advice based on forecasting expenditures and monitor revenues, position controls, and resource allocation across all funds. Assist Departments and School Leaders with budget-related issues while applying control functions for planning and presentation. Develop rigorous financial analyses with multiple scenarios for district restructures, school openings, closures, and mergers. Provide updated guidance and training for the Finance team, preparing reports for Chiefs and Directors. Monitor regulatory changes and interpret best practices related to public agency budgeting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration, or closely related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of Accounting, Finance, and/or budgeting analysis
- Experience in a school district, charter school or other education setting
- PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Public Administration or related field or equivalent
