Analyst / Senior Analyst, Private Markets Operations

Job Summary
Perform post-trade activities and life cycle events for private placements, fund units, and illiquid assets, including initial subscriptions, capital calls, settlements, and cash operations. Coordinate operational stages of private placement acquisitions by liaising with trading desks, portfolio managers, external lawyers, trustees, and borrowers. Maintain high data quality in systems while answering custodian inquiries and ensuring operational deadlines are met. Implement standardized monitoring processes, optimize reporting tools, and interpret fund-level legal terms and entity structures. Manage third-party service providers and fund administrators to support internal private placement managers. Review priorities, execute best practices for proper controls, and stay informed on regulatory changes impacting client reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in investment operations or accounting
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting
- Experience with operational activities related to private placements and fund unit transactions
- Solid understanding of private markets, market practices, and applicable regulations
