Analyst / Senior Analyst - Data Governance & Lineage

Job Summary
Document data lineage from Tier 1 consumption points through analytical data stores to systems of origin, capture findings in client tooling, and support the design, development, and deployment of ADS components and data quality controls on GCP. Contribute to data modeling and target-state landscape design, conduct SME interviews, and bridge business and technical requirements by translating insights into actionable engineering tasks. Operate as the bridge between engineering, enterprise architecture, and data office stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations directly to senior client leadership. Requires 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or governance with strong SQL and Python skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years in data analysis, data engineering, or data governance
- Working knowledge of GCP data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow/Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Dataplex)
- Ability to build and deploy pipelines and controls
- Strong SQL
- At least one scripting language
- Familiarity with data modeling fundamentals and data lineage concepts
- Familiarity with metadata/lineage tooling
- Exposure to data quality rules, controls, or reconciliation processes
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior client stakeholders in a professional setting
