Analyst, Sales Finance

Job Summary
Prepare weekly reporting including customer inventory analysis and open deduction summaries, then lead core planning processes and tools across Sales and Finance. Review and approve incremental investment opportunities to drive top- and bottom-line growth, while managing trade accruals and ensuring robust processes for annual planning and month-end close. Conduct budget and forecast reviews on overall volume, trade spend, and margin, presenting action plans to Sales and Finance teams. Make recommendations on opportunities for improvement, challenge variances, and develop financial models to achieve targeted results. Validate trade rates and customer incentive program payments in partnership with the accounting team to ensure policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Min. 1 year of related experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Ability to work through ambiguity, manage multiple projects, work independently, think creatively, implement improvements and work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels across the organization (verbal, written) including presenting complex information and analysis in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Hybrid: 3 days/week
