Job Summary
Analyst, Revenue Management at Apotex responsible for monthly and quarterly financial analysis of revenue and trade spend by molecule and customer; reconcile Rep Target performance; input pricing decisions; ensure revenue reporting in accordance with company policies including revenue recognition rules; execute and maintain accruals for gross-to-net calculations (pricing, discounts, allowances, returns provisions); verify sales data and identify variances; prepare monthly channel inventory rollforwards; provide variance analysis and present results for monthly/quarterly meetings; prepare and maintain journal entries for product revenue and gross-to-net accruals; analyze impact of price changes, returns reserves, and other revenue adjustments; calculate channel accrual rates by customer/product; confirm validity of payments and deductions; support audits and budgeting/IBP processes; collaborate with Finance and Sales; demonstrate integrity, teamwork, and innovation; requires advanced Excel, SAP/BW, and analytical tools; 3-5 years pharma experience and bilingual English/French in a Canadian, bilingual team. Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Business / Accounting or relevant field
- Accounting Professional Designation preferred
- 3-5 years pharmaceutical or business experience (accounting with emphasis on accrual management, data analytics, forecasting, financial analysis, statistical modeling and analytics)
