Job Summary
Screen and identify companies or industries at risk of increased defaults, then proactively present research and analysis to RSSG leadership to support new business development. Build basic cash flow financial models, conduct sector analysis, and prepare company and industry presentations for internal and external use. Participate in meetings with hedge funds, private equity funds, and law firms, while assisting deal teams with research and market data requests. Maintain internal databases and market statistics for marketing materials, and collaborate with partners on financial budget forecasting and quarterly reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of financial services experience
- Knowledge of the high-yield/distressed/leverage loan market, restructuring and the credit markets broadly
- Ability to build basic cash flow financial models and develop presentations
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to support research and workflow efficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
