Job Summary
Analyst, Production planning role focusing on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational and business data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities; develop simulations and scenario analyses to support decision-making and actionable plans. Lead short-, medium-, and long-term production planning, align capacity with demand forecasts, and support on-time delivery and volume targets. Prepare for S&OP meetings by consolidating assumptions and highlighting variances; identify structural improvements, automate and simplify planning processes, and develop dashboards and KPIs. Collaborate with planning, procurement, engineering, sales, and production during new product launches; monitor inventory to reduce shortages and optimize levels. Present executive summaries and recommendations to influence service levels, costs, capacity, and operational priorities. Required to have a Bachelor’s degree in operations management or supply chain management (preferred), 5+ years in a similar role, and strong proficiency in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, ERP/MRP systems, and bilingual French-English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management; supply chain management preferred
- 5+ years in planning, operations, or supply chain management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with Power Query and Power BI
- Proven experience with the S&OP process
- Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
- Analytical skills to synthesize complex data and propose solutions
- Interpersonal skills and negotiation abilities
- Bilingual in French and English
