Job Summary
Conduct research on securities, competitors, industry, and capital markets to build, modify, and utilize financial models for discounted cash flow, guideline market multiple, and option valuations. Gather and document pertinent data from client interactions, then perform valuation analyses across diverse industries using qualitative information and proprietary quantitative models. Assist in preparing formal client reports while managing multiple assignments and prioritizing time-sensitive engagements around critical due dates. This hybrid role requires a minimum of one to two days in the office in the Boston area.
Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years' of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Any coursework in valuation, financial statement analysis
- Working/Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Superior analytical capabilities
- Self-starter temperament with the ability to master new tasks quickly
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Ability to work on multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and handle dynamic, time-sensitive engagements
- Strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical due dates
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- The candidate has to be local in the Boston area
- This position is a hybrid role (a minimum of one to two days in the office)
Desired Qualifications
- Progress towards CFA designation is a plus
