Job Summary
Analyst - Operations responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) platforms including Flexera and ServiceNow SAM Pro. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Active Directory, cloud platforms, and other inventory data sources. Manage software asset lifecycle processes (discovery, normalization, reconciliation, license compliance, entitlement management, optimization) using Flexera and ServiceNow SAM Pro. Develop and maintain software compliance dashboards, operational reports, and executive-level asset management reporting using Flexera, ServiceNow, SQL Server, Power BI, and related tools. Support software license harvesting, reclamation, and optimization initiatives, including identification and recovery of licenses assigned to terminated or inactive users. Serve as the primary administrator and technical support resource for Flexera and ServiceNow SAM Pro, coordinating issue resolution with vendor support teams. 3–6 years of experience in relevant roles, minimum 2 years with Flexera and ServiceNow SAM Pro, and strong knowledge of licensing models, software audits, and asset governance. Proficiency with TCP/IP networking, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, VMware vCenter, and scripting (PowerShell, SQL, VBS, HTML). Strong communication skills and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Flexera Administration and ServiceNow SAM Pro certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in systems administration, software asset management, or infrastructure support roles
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on administration experience with Flexera and ServiceNow SAM Pro
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexera and/or ServiceNow SAM Pro certifications are preferred
- Experience integrating Flexera and/or ServiceNow SAM Pro with SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, JAMF, cloud platforms, and vendor software portals
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, VMware vCenter, and scripting technologies
