Job Summary
Field and resolve escalations relating to internal cash and position reconciliation through various channels, providing guidance to the Business Unit on trade bookings and resolving discrepancies for trends and gaps. Monitor daily and weekly reports to ensure processing accuracy, timeliness, and consistency, while investigating breaks within cut-off timelines and escalating aged or high-value exceptions. Prepare reconciliation reports ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, and support multiple securities lending operations teams with transaction fulfillment and cross-coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Post-secondary degree, preferable in a business related field
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment
- Working on Canadian statutory holidays is required
- Time in lieu will be provided
- Analytical thinking
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Fixed Income settlements (DTCC in particular)
- Experience with ADP/Broadridge related functions
- Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
