Job Summary
Prepare contracting and strategy analytics for new and renewal pharmacy agreements across retail, specialty, and mail order lines. Monitor provider agreements, 340B opportunities, and competitive intel to forecast network value, align targets, and support quarterly planning and multi-year financial modeling. Analyze negotiated contracts to maximize return, advise stakeholders on fiscal matters, and deliver impact analysis for pricing revisions during negotiations. Work cross-functionally with internal partners and external vendors to interpret financial results, mitigate risks, and capitalize on network improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, actuarial science or related field
- At least one year of database management experience
- Experience in business, finance, or analytics
- Experience in Retail Pharmacy and/or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or Managed Care
- Familiarity with the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), contracting and pharmacy industry/technical terms, pricing and processes
- Experience with CMS, Medicare, and state Medicaid regulations and guidance
- Knowledge of health care processes and pharmaceutical claims adjudication systems
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, actuarial science or related field is preferred
