Job Summary
Analyst for Mutual Fund, Security Master, and Physical Securities performing back-office tasks across subgroups, including precious metals processing, mutual fund reconciliation, security master maintenance, and handling physical certificates. Responsible for reviewing trades, processing withdrawals, updating house prices for precious metals, reconciling breaks with Broadridge/Fundserv, booking mutual fund transactions, producing monthly trading-volume reports, maintaining policy documents, and coordinating with internal teams and external fund companies to resolve issues. Must manage vendor and client communications, ensure regulatory obligations are met, and contribute to quarterly audits and vault counts. Requires 2+ years in financial services, strong reconciliation and organizational skills, and excellent communication; CSI credentials or experience with BPS are advantageous. Hybrid environment with in-office presence and exposure to back-office operations, fund servicing, and physical securities management.
Required Qualifications
- Have 2+ years of relevant work experience in financial services
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Independent work capability
- Experience with mutual funds/gic/Exempt market assets is a plus
- CSI course (CSC, CPH) a plus
- Experience with BPS a plus
