Job Summary
Market Data & Research Finance Analyst at Point72 drives day-to-day administrative and accounting support for market data spend. Responsibilities include reviewing, researching, and reconciling market data invoices; maintaining inventory and cost allocations in the market data inventory system; supporting monthly close; overseeing procurement and vendor onboarding controls; managing vendor relations and exchange reporting; identifying automation opportunities to streamline processes; overseeing soft dollar and tax policy administration; and assisting with budgets and ad hoc reporting. Ideal candidates will have an accounting or finance degree, 1-3 years’ experience in a related environment, strong data-analysis skills and Excel proficiency, experience with market data or accounts payable, and excellent communication and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting or finance degree
- 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting, finance or market data environment
- Strong analytical ability
- Experience with Excel
- Previous experience in market data, accounting, accounts payable, or account management
- A detail oriented team player who has genuine interest in market data within an asset management environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize both volume and deadline driven responsibilities
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
