Job Summary
Join Scout Motors as an Analyst, Logistics Material Flow Engineer to optimize in-house assembly and logistics processes, manage manual and automated material handling (tugger trains, forklifts, AGVs), design efficient picking and kitting operations, oversee AGV systems, contribute to supermarket areas for sequenced parts, apply change management to resources, use MES to monitor production, plan internal route traffic, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate across engineering, production, and logistics to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly process coordination, including manual and automated systems (tugger trains, forklifts, AGVs)
- Strong knowledge of VDA, ISO, and other automotive industry standards; experience conducting process audits
- Proven expertise in change management, including evaluating and steering change requests in automotive environments
- Experience with route optimization and traffic management tools/software (e.g., TMS, WMS), JIS logistics, and material flow planning
- Understanding of compliance requirements including safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
- Experience managing supplier selection for equipment
- Skilled in coordinating implementations in alignment with SOP requirements
