Job Summary
Analyst IT at Mattel: Serve as a strategic liaison between EHS and Technology/Coman to translate regulatory needs into scalable digital and analytics solutions. Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting EHS-related business requirements; translating operational and regulatory needs into technology solutions; identifying opportunities to apply AI, automation, and predictive analytics in areas such as incident management, risk monitoring, regulatory compliance, and audits; facilitating cross-functional workshops; defining KPIs and performance metrics; supporting UAT and data validation; ensuring alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards; contributing to initiative prioritization using value and risk assessments; and identifying automation opportunities to reduce operational risk and improve incident reporting and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidate combines strategic, analytical capabilities with strong cross-functional communication and a continuous improvement mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Knowledge of EHS processes (preferred: OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar frameworks)
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with EHS management platforms
- Jira / ServiceNow (preferred)
- Foundational to intermediate understanding of data analytics and process automation
- AI/ML concepts (use-case understanding) and experience with requirements documentation (BRDs, user stories, process maps)
