Job Summary
Conduct daily and weekly portfolio reviews, generate monthly performance reports, and prepare quarterly investment reports for the Board of Directors. Perform research projects to identify investment themes, analyze internally and externally managed portfolios across fixed income, public equities, and private equity, and ensure investments comply with Investment Policy Statements. Use Bloomberg terminals for holding and portfolio-level analysis, assist in evolving investment processes and sourcing new automation tools, and interface regularly with investment managers and advisors. Stay current with economic news and financial markets while maintaining high attention to detail in data quality.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Finance or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in investment / financial markets
- Currently enrolled or an interest in enrolling in the CFA program
- Strong comfort level with investment software and evolving technology
- Demonstrated interest in Investing and Financial Markets
- Analytical thinker with an aptitude for numbers and mathematics
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of data
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others
- Ability to work and think independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bloomberg terminals
- Experience in Private Equity and Alternatives and engaging with these managers
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar relevant to finance
