Job Summary
Screen investment proposals by preparing rental market surveys, rent roll analyses, acquisition models, and investment memos for the Acquisition & Disposition and Asset Management departments. Monitor existing portfolio performance, complete monthly model updates with economic forecasts, and assist the Development team with new investment underwriting and hold/sell analyses. Deliver financial and market performance reporting to joint venture partners, including quarterly reports and the annual budget package, while maintaining the Investment Dashboard. Participate in the two-year Investment Analyst Program with cross-training opportunities in business intelligence, property management, and pricing analysis. Minimal travel is required, with annual property and development tours available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Ability to effectively and efficiently analyze financial and other numerical data, assess trends, variances, and causes, and confidently report findings and recommendations to senior management
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel
- The ability to learn and adapt to new software applications quickly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Real Estate/Asset Management
- 0-2 years of experience in economics, finance, or related experience
- Strong interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g., for data analysis, financial modeling support, market research, and workflow automation)
