Job Summary
Conduct power market research and track industry trends to identify attractive markets for renewable energy and energy storage. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate project returns, capital structures, and investment risks for acquisitions, debt, and tax equity financings. Coordinate third-party deliverables, analyze project documentation, and support transaction processes for assets in development, under construction, and operation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic insights that support business planning and investment decisions. This role is available on both the Finance & Acquisitions and Strategy teams within DESRI, a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- undergraduate degree
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, project finance, corporate finance, consulting, strategy, renewable energy, or a related analytical field
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, preferably in Excel
- ability to synthesize complex information into clear conclusions
- well-developed communication skills
- ability to collaborate effectively within a small team
- strong organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity

- willingness to learn new concepts across renewable energy markets, project finance, and corporate strategy
