Job Summary
Inventory Analyst to develop and manage product forecasts and inventory for Baseball and Softball categories. Responsibilities include creating and managing item-level demand forecasts using historical sales data and market intelligence, accounting for promotional lifts and price elasticity, and driving continuous improvement of the demand planning process. Act as the central hub for forecasting and planning information, manage PO flow within department limits, build strong vendor relationships, monitor KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rate, aged inventory, seasonal carry-over, open-to-buy), and utilize BI tools (Tableau) and ERP maintenance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of forecasting/demand planning experience; strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills. Hybrid remote work in Minneapolis, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and experience.
- Two or more years’ experience in forecasting and demand planning.
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to write in a clear and concise business manner.
- Ability to speak in front of various sized groups and levels within the company to present ideas and explain data.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically to analyze data and develop action plans.
- Experience using information systems associated with forecasting and demand planning.
- Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Tableau, to analyze data.
- Significant experience using Microsoft Excel; proficiency with functions such as filters, sorting, formulas, pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
