Job Summary
Insurance Risk Analyst manages the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate insurance programs and complex claims, focusing on data analysis to support annual policy renewals and precise premium allocations across business units. The role evaluates total cost of risk (TCOR), ensures regulatory compliance, analyzes claims (General Liability, Workers' Comp, Property), manages Third Party Administrators and certificates of insurance, and prepares detailed reports. It requires collaboration with internal safety/legal teams and external partners, with on-site Charlotte, NC duties and a hybrid work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in data analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret insurance contracts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with claims management software.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing documentation and data entry.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
