Job Summary
Perform initial listing reviews and continued listing supervision of exchange-traded products and options, analyzing periodic SEC filings and prospective issuer documents to ensure compliance with Exchange standards. Draft initial listing eligibility analyses, coordinate pre-listing applications with internal and external parties, and oversee ongoing reviews by preparing supporting memoranda. Monitor overnight trading activity for clearly erroneous executions, corporate actions, and trading halts; review global news and press releases for material impacts; and investigate unusual trading activity or system outages per Reg SCI. Triage issues, engage with NYSE Regulation teams, and escalate identified concerns to senior management. Maintain organized files for SEC and internal audits while working on ad hoc tasks in a high-volume environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or similar fields
- Minimum two years of work experience
- Accounting/finance and/or regulatory experience
- General knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis, financial markets, and the securities industry
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong initiative and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and function effectively in a high-volume, deadline-oriented, multi-task environment
- Ability to interface effectively and professionally with Exchange senior management and representatives of listed issuers
- Experience with trading data software (Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ)
