Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain University financial systems, including cloud-based SaaS platforms and internally developed applications. Manage ERP modernization activities, release assessments, regression testing, and post-release stabilization while coordinating with vendors. Support integrations across finance systems using APIs, middleware, ETL processes, and data pipelines for banking, procurement, and HR interfaces. Diagnose and resolve issues in complex, multi-system environments involving Microsoft .NET, Oracle APEX, and Oracle E-Business Finance. Deliver software updates via Agile DevOps processes using Microsoft Azure DevOps and implement change requests through the full Software Development Life Cycle. Execute quality assurance, unit testing, and User Acceptance Testing plans with financial clients. Monitor data exchanges between external partners and campus systems using SQL workbench and ETL tools. Ensure system updates maintain stability, security, and privacy while configuring custom software following change management processes. Collaborate with the PMO to document workflows and requested changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Systems Engineering
- 4+ years of related work experience with the support, implementation, enhancement, and lifecycle management of enterprise systems in complex, multi-system environments
- Experience supporting complex enterprise financial systems or ERP platforms
- Experience with system and integration design
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, enterprise data management practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Analytical ability and thorough understanding of large-scale information technology applications
- Software development experience, through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience delivering working software using Agile DevOps processes
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft C#/.NET development, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Change management experience in an enterprise application environment including release management across development, test and production systems
- Business process analysis and/or software design experience, creating Use Cases, creating and executing User Acceptance Testing plans
- Experience with Project Management methodologies and participation on project teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise integrations and data ecosystems, including APIs, web services, data transformation processes, reporting or analytics platforms
- Experience supporting the implementation, delivery, and support of Finance SaaS ERPs such as SAP S/4HANA, Workday Financial Management, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics or comparable ERP
- Experience supporting on-premises Finance ERPs such as Oracle E-Business Suite Financials and other Oracle Technologies such as Oracle Databases, Oracle APEX, Oracle Reports and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft C#/.NET development, and Microsoft SQL Server, version control tools such as Git
