Job Summary
Analyst II, Quality Control leads analytical testing and environmental monitoring to support product quality and regulatory compliance in a sterile manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include testing a range of samples (finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process and water samples), maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, supporting investigations and QC method/SOP updates, executing test protocols for development/validation activities, and performing QC data review. The role requires cGXP knowledge, strong problem-solving, math/computer skills, understanding of basic statistics and quality control terminology, and familiarity with laboratory equipment (including HPLC). The position operates on a weekend shift (Fri–Mon, four 10-hour days) and may involve collaboration with operations/QA in a controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of cGXP requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in math, laboratory and computer skills
- Understand basic statistics and quality control terminology
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, biology or related field (minimum)
