Job Summary
Analytics Engineer focused on maintaining and optimizing the finance data platform using dbt and Snowflake. Responsibilities include building and maintaining dbt models and core datasets for Accounting reporting and downstream automation, improving platform reliability with testing patterns, alerting, and runbooks, owning and documenting data pipelines and lineage, troubleshooting production data issues and driving root-cause fixes, optimizing performance and cost to support scaling, partnering with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into durable, well-tested data assets, and contributing to team practices around GitHub-based workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles with production data systems
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience building in dbt (modeling, testing, documentation)
- Experience operating in a modern development workflow: Git and pull-request based collaboration (GitHub preferred)
- Familiarity with standard IDEs and collaborative debugging practices
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Ownership mindset and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
