Job Summary

Conduct routine and moderate complexity analytical studies of organic and inorganic samples, including preparation, extraction, and digestion using instrumentation per official methods and SOPs. Prepare, submit, and file reports on client sample tests, correlation tests, calibration, and validation projects. Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments. Develop and validate analytical methods, SOPs, and quality documents for method development and transfer studies. Provide technical training, advice, and support to Analysts in data analysis. Investigate client inquiries and complaints, and offer technical support to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service regarding testing and reporting. Maintain the Laboratory Notebook and input technical information to support laboratory operations. Manage multiple assigned projects while adhering to internal standards and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience in gas chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Master's degree with research laboratory experience in gas chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
