Job Summary
Design and implement automation solutions using Python, RPA tools like Blue Prism, and AWS services to reduce manual processes and enhance operational accuracy across Risk, Operations, Finance, and Treasury functions. Build scripts for data processing and reporting workflows, translating requirements into scalable automation that integrates with enterprise data platforms and Snowflake. Deploy and monitor production workflows on AWS Compute, Storage, and orchestration tools while validating outputs against source systems. Partner with senior engineers and stakeholders to conduct discovery, troubleshoot existing processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in automation, data processing, or software development
- Experience with Python or similar programming languages
- Basic experience with SQL and relational databases
- Foundational experience or exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud platforms
- Foundational understanding of automation concepts, including scripting, RPA, and workflow automation
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data processing concepts
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and scripting
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for querying and validating data
- Ability to work with AWS services such as: Lambda, S3, EC2, or similar cloud services
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows
- Ability to translate requirements into scalable automation solutions (local and cloud-based)
- Ability to follow structured development, testing, and deployment processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and cloud platforms
- Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
