Job Summary
Process capital releases, review documentation, and seek benchmark approvals from other departments. Update capital installment applications, prepare wire forms, and electronically file all required records. Establish relationships with General Partners and management agents while researching rental market trends and preparing analytical materials for management plans. Analyze performance deficiencies, develop workout scenarios for troubled properties, and conduct comparable analysis for high-value assets. Prepare real estate performance reports for Senior Management review and review partnership documents to determine benchmark requirements. This role supports the Asset Management functions of a large multi-family apartment portfolio at Boston Financial headquarters in Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, real estate or related field
- 2+ years of real estate or related financial experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while managing conflicting priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel (preferably expert), PowerPoint and Access
- Travel required: 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, real estate or related field, preferred
- Real estate underwriting experience
- Understanding of partnership agreements
- LIHTC experience
- Market analysis skills
