Analyst II, Accounting

Execute moderately complex financial tasks and complete analytical projects across WM Area and Corporate Finance/Accounting departments. Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, analyzing general ledger accounts, and preparing monthly/quarterly reconciliations. Analyze monthly financial results to communicate trends and insights, while collecting data to prepare combined financial statements and reports. Assist in evaluating accounting consequences of transactions, participate in financial review meetings, and provide guidance on internal and external accounting procedures. Maintain and execute internal controls responsibilities. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant work experience.
