Job Summary
Prepare and process samples, collect composition data, and perform quantitative analysis to support client testing needs in an accredited commercial laboratory. Utilize specialized equipment to set up analyses, maintain accurate logs and LIMS records, and address sample backlog issues while adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. Perform necessary administrative functions including data entry and paperwork filing, and may assist with Technical or Study Manager duties under close supervision. Requires high school diploma plus two years experience or a bachelor's degree, with the ability to work near moving mechanical parts and handle toxic chemicals.

- Basic knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and manage time to meet deadlines and rush orders
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work with delicate laboratory equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
