Job Summary
Payroll Analyst I within Kraft Heinz Global GBS, based in Ahmedabad, India, focusing on payroll processing cycle support, ticket processing and queue management, response to employee queries, and weekly/monthly reporting. Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy and policy compliance, handling ageing tickets, escalation of complex issues with the Payroll Lead, participating in daily huddles, supporting HRBP connects, maintaining process documentation and trackers, and contributing to process compliance and audit readiness. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
- 2-4 years of experience in payroll operations
- Experience with payroll software and HRIS platforms (Workday experience advantageous)
- Familiarity with standard payroll regulations and compliance requirements in the specified country (India)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in ticketing systems and queue management; ability to meet SLAs
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to support reporting
- Payroll certification is a plus; continuous improvement certification is a plus
- Experience with KHMS or equivalent payroll practices is a plus
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes and resolving unreconciled items
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a Global GBS environment
Desired Qualifications
- Payroll certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus
- Continuous improvement certification is a plus
- Experience with Workday, Dayforce and/or Service Now is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
