Job Summary
Analyst role supporting fund investments and direct co-investments in venture growth and growth equity managers. Responsibilities include market and company research, building financial models, conducting due diligence (management meetings, reference calls), preparing investment memoranda and presentations, monitoring portfolio and fund investments, and maintaining relationships with fund managers, management teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders. The role involves evaluating opportunities, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses, and contributing to investment decisions. Emphasis on understanding emerging technology and AI trends and their implications for portfolio opportunities. Regular in-office collaboration with occasional travel to support diligence and investment execution.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, asset management, technology, engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience conducting research, financial analysis, valuation, and investment due diligence
- Demonstrated experience building financial models and developing insights to support investment recommendations and decision-making
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and an interest in understanding their impact on businesses, industries, and investment opportunities
- Experience implementing AI-enabled tools across the investments process to enhance research, analysis, and decision-making is considered an asset
