Develop strategic and operational plans for the corporate banking department; underwrite, structure, and close commercial loans; maintain and service existing portfolio as Marketing Officer; represent the Bank in targeted business communities through marketing of products and services; promote sales and marketing activities; seek new market opportunities; cross-sell products by identifying opportunities, negotiating terms, and documenting transactions; prepare lending proposals and pitches to prospective clients; requires 3+ years U.S. banking/international experience and fluency in English and Japanese; Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics or equivalent (MBA/CFA preferred). Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in U.S. banking and international markets
- Excellent interpersonal skills including business writing, editing, and proofreading
- Knowledge of domestic and foreign financial markets and products, including nonbanking financial institutions
- Fluency in both English and Japanese
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience
- Master's in Business or CFA preferred
