Job Summary
Develop and maintain complex financial models while supporting transaction structuring and execution for equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory assignments. Conduct research to analyze market trends, industry companies, and future opportunities, providing financial and written analysis for client meetings and presentations. Manage multiple competing priorities with a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the delivery of trusted advice to clients. This role is part of RBC Capital Markets' Mining and Metals team in Toronto, where you will collaborate within a high-performing group to drive innovation and deliver on our purpose-driven strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, corporate development or accounting
- Undergraduate degree program in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a quantitative field from a leading university
- Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
