Job Summary
Execute M&A and financing transactions for the Energy Coverage Team in Houston, develop new business presentations, and conduct detailed financial analysis. Coordinate with industry and product groups to evaluate opportunities, create pitch books, and identify operational risks or control deficiencies. Escalate identified risks to line managers and relevant functions while ensuring compliance with firm policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of investment banking experience, Series 79 and SIE licenses, and advanced financial modeling skills. Salary range $110,000 - $135,000 with 40-hour work weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting/ engineering
- Minimum of one year of Investment Banking experience
- previous experience in the Energy space
- Experience executing M&A deals specifically in relation to financial institutions
- ability to lead transaction execution on multiple deals at a time
- Solid understanding of capital markets
