Job Summary
Perform customer identification and due-diligence for onboarding new customers and ongoing monitoring of money-laundering risk in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements. Conduct sanction screening, negative press assessment, and corruption allegations for all authorized individuals. Monitor money laundering risk through regular KYC reviews and any extraordinary reviews as needed. Participate in quality control by cross-checking KYC due diligence reports prepared by teammates prior to submission for approval. Demonstrate ability to research and analyze customers, regulations and banking products; communicate clearly in writing and verbally; and contribute as a team member in MUFG’s professional, client-centric culture.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in compliance/banking/accounting/legal/regulatory or equivalent sectors
- Economics/Finance/Business and Commerce/Accounting/Law degree from leading university
- ACAMS/CPA/CA or a relevant Masters qualification
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and presentations skills
- Will be a team player
- Will be a self-starter with drive, initiative and enthusiasm
