Job Summary
Analyst role supporting core fund administration and financial reporting for a multi-billion hedge fund client on the Omnium Services team. Responsibilities include assisting with monthly NAV close, investor accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements and audit support documents under supervision; handling data preparation and dissemination to clients, and contributing to process improvement within established procedures. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and effective communication; open to recent graduates or those with internship experience and authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Located in Chicago, IL; on-site at least as described in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Relevant work experience preferred; recent grads with relevant coursework or internship experience may be considered
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to learn financial systems (e.g., Subledger, ERP, investor accounting platforms)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
